It's a 177, now marketed by holley. I dont remember seeing individual parts in the merc catalog. I would be willing to bet Holley has individual parts for a fraction of mercs cost.

I just ordered those pieces from The Blower Shop. They are in Ca. so I would try them. I don't have them yet, but hope they are correct.

Just send them to The Blower Shop in CA. Let them rebuild them. They re strip the Teflon with a thicker cross section material for longer life. This requires machine work. Also if you do not get the rotor timing correct at re assembly you will have junk, The owner worked for B&M before Holley bought them and moved the operation to KY & TN. I have used TBS services before and was very pleased with the $ and turn around time. Before you spend $ on rebuilds you might want to consider stepping up to one of their 250 size blowers for a cooler intake charge. I ran 174 and 250 size blowers on the same 468 engines with the same single Dominator carb and picked up about 400 RPM with the change to the 250's. Joe Murray

We have the bearing and seal kits for the Weiand 177/merc 525 superchargers. Our P/N is 9013 for the kit which comes with bearings, seals and gaskets needed to service the blower. You can also get the bearings and seals at a local bearing supply store, just take the old ones in and they can match them for you. The original Merc rotor shaft seal was a teflon lip seal that was custom made. Merc and Weiand later went back to a nitrile lip (rubber lip) due to too many problems with the teflon seals. This rubber seal is an off the shelf item, just match up the dimensions 1" I.D x 1.50" O.D. x .250 wide. Be sure to inspect the rotor shaft sealing surface as the shafts were not heat treated and the seal tends to wear a groove into the shaft.
