2 more questions on the 500
There was water dripping on the larger of the fan belts and then was getting sprayed up from hitting the belts. Very small amount. Does anyone know what this is from? The boat has seen limited time in the water for the past 3-4 years (30 hours). Also, the boat has about a 5-6 inch cut in the gel coat on the v-bottom. GOes about 1/8 of an inch in, if that. Is this a problem, or more cosmetic and just fix it?

yup, its your circulation pumps leaking from the top and bottom seals in the case. After time all circ pumps do this. The only fix is to install new. If you want to make sure, look up under the top middle pulley and there will be rust and corrosion there. That is you culprit.
As far as the glass, if its into the fiberglass, it needs to be tended to soon. You dont want the glass to get water in it and have it start to seperate. This could leed into delamination over time. If its just in the gel coating, get it fixed at the end of the year. Shouldnt hurt a thing.

Probably the water circulating pump is going out. The water is leaking out the weep hole and dripping on the belts. You can get a new marine water pump for about $80. They are different than your auto waterpump. Been marinized.
The scratch should be no problem if it is just in the gel. Can be repaired easily with Gel repair kits from West Marine and such. Since it is on the bottom, a non perfect match may be sufice.
