Shift interrupter question
My new engines came equipped with Mallory unilite distributor/ignition.
The only way I've been able to get the interrupter to work is to ground the negative side of the coil with the switch, shorting to ground for a second.
Other than adding a relay to break the hot to the coil or distributor, I don't see any other way.
1. Will this hurt the Unilite ignition?
2. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
