Can Cmi Headers Run Dry Or Will They Burn Out?

I run full dry CMI's with no problem. Remember, the headers are still wet. Water flows through the headers and tails, but instead of mixing with the exhaust at the end of the tail, the water dumps out through a bung welded to the end of the tail. They are called dry because the water and exhaust dont mix but actually the headers are still wet.
