Default Mercury/Quicksilver Spanner Wrench... B1 Trim Cylinder End Cap Removal

Tool needed to remove the end cap of a B1 Trim Cylinder:

Merc P/N : 91-821709

I don't have any spanner wrenches; never even used one. Can this be picked up as a Craftsman or Snap-On part?

Thanks!

Brian, nothing special about spanner wrenches. Pick up an adjustable one over a fixed one. Just make sure the pin dia's are not to big for what you need. There are different sizes. I don't know what size you need off hand.

You can make a cheap and dirty one using bolts for the pins.

This is a 6 year old post, and if you can remember, did you use an adustable spanner to get the end cap off?

an adjustable spanner will work fine, just use the right size, put it on the ram and tap it with a mallet.
