Anyone run autolite 3933's. Engine builder put these in mine. Seem to foul out real easy.

Instead of running the -8 I may decide to go one plug hotter to a -7.
Thanks again

The only time you want to run a hotter plug is if you are having fouling problems at low cylinder pressures/speed. I tend to run -6's up to 600hp, -7's to 700hp, -8's to 900, -9s to 1200hp and -10's above that. This is for gasoline powered engines. The last thing you want is too hot a plug and it turns into a glow plug

R5671 = 3/4 reach gasket plug std tip
R5672 = 3/4 reach gasket plug ext tip
R5673 = 5/8 reach taper seat plug std tip
R5674 = 5/8 reach taper seat plug ext tip

I Ran the R5674-8 in my blown Scarab .It did pretty good.

On the cars I usally run the R5674- 8's at the track on a 200 shot and on 475 shot I ran the 9's but that would load up pretty quick.

I am running 6's on the street , the 7's loaded up some with all the putputting around. I have hit the 200 ,but it is real fat and I pull 8 out of it. Lucky I havent lost a eltrode on pump gas when hitting it

I ran the NGK R5671A-9 in a pair of 509,s with 420 Mega Blowers and alum. heads. I just changed to the -8 on one motor and fell in love with them. They have been in a couple of weeks and no fouling issues to date. I'm going to change the other engine as well.

Is that ngk # the same as what they would call a NGK V power 8 ?

It isn't good practice to run projected tip plugs on blower or nitrous motors!!

The NGK plug # is differant than the stock #. I have been getting the NGK's at Napa.

I would think the 41 would be close to a 8. projected tip.

I and running the 42's in my 500efi whipple motors.

You can call NGK at 248-926 6900,I think Richard or John 248-668-8873 is still there?

The number I posted is a non projected tip. It is referred to as a "V-Power" or racing plug though.

I have always heard the same thing about projected tip plugs and blower motors. Don't use them.

I get them @ Car Quest for 2.00 each.
