Default Transmissions

I have a 1978 Excalibur 32 o.s. I brought as a porject boat.It has new 502/500 with 471 blowers TRS drives w/14.75x25 props.I can not get it on plane.Can anyone give me any advice.Thanks for your time Tim

Need more info. Are you trimmed all the way down? Are you going slow on the throttles? How does the tranny fluid smell/look? Reverse work ok? Do you know if you have Borge Warners or Merc Transmisions?

That boat should pop right up with that power. I agree with Jon, we need more info. It sounds like you might have slipping trany's but who knows.... Those wheels sound like they're just about right. What kind are they, 3 blade, 4 blade, etc?
