Brian was a great guy with tremendous talent and it's sad that he is gone. Sorry to learn this.

I don't think there is any need to edit. Chriss288 simply asked the question a lot of us have been wondering about. Depression is a terrible thing to deal with. I hope and pray it wasn't suicide.

I never had a ny dealing with Brian, but he did excellant work on the parts he designed and built.

It's very sad indeed.

Yes, there is a need to edit his post. That word should not even be mentioned when we have no idea what happened. If that is the case then so be it. Until we know to mention it is beyond rude and very tacky. That is all I have to say about it.

I didn't know Brian but I enjoyed his posts and I hope he is in a better place now.

God bless you Brian. I talked to Brian last year after he dissapeared and have some of Brian's first tab's. Worked with him to get a new bolt pattern he had not made yet. Very easy to work with and a great product. We should discuss depression and it's consequences like any other illness and not sweep it under the carpet just because we are uncomfortable with the stigma society has placed on it. Removing the shame of discussing depression is the only way we are able to recognized and treat it before it's too late to treat.

I'm very sorry to hear about Brian. A sad loss to us all.

This post started asking about Victory tabs. I don't know what will happen to the company that builds Victory tabs, but Brian created a great product. I would like to share an experience for what it's worth.
A good friend ordered a pair for her 24' Baja Outlaw which was equipped with the original Bennet style tabs. I removed the old tabs and mounting bases and installed the new ones in place of the originals. The pre-drilled holes in the new tab bases even lined up perfectly. A very easy swap, a much better looking and MUCH stronger tab when finished. Even looks kinda like the racing K-planes.
I hope Victory tabs continues to stay in business. They work.
