Default Hydraulic Steering Question

I am instaling Latham steering rams on my 43 scarab with No 3 drives. The rams have a 7 inch stroke. It is better to mount the rams on the inside of the drives or the outside or does it make a difference . Personally I prefer the inside as I feel it makes for a cleaner look .

Thanks Rick G.

Default Re: Hydraulic Steering Question

Mine are on the inside also, I like it because there are no issues with clearing the trim tabs. also, I do believe that there is one fewer set of "holes" through the transom, in my Latham model.
