I guess its going to be a lesson in throttle restraint till he gets them in there...I don't want to trash anything till then.

Mr Gadget you can get your gears nitrited at Hansen Bulk heat treat in grand rapids

I talked to Kolene about the process, not sure it will work with the upper gears, ruins the bearings and it is only about .0005" thick, which could wear off and then be gone. Talked to several people concerning it and got different opinions. Also they want min order. Small job, $300-$450.. not looking good so far. I will give Hansen Bulk a call and see what they have to say..
