Re: TRS Transoms, what is innerchangeable?
ExcaliburHawk40, sorry for the hi-jack.
do speedmaster lower #2 take a different prop then a TRS? Is there a big benefit having #2's over TRS. (Drive height, nose cone geometry?) what would be a plus. TRS parts are easier to find then #2 parts. are there different nose cones for TRS's, any way to change drive height?
just curious.
On with the regular discussion.

Rookie,
Forget about IIs, parts are almost non-existant.
They use a different prop, 19 spline speedmaster.
The II is actually longer than a TRS (about 2"). So to gain the benefit, you would have to raise the engine, gimbal, drive.
And what MrCIG said about interchangability.

I am now looking into TRS nose cones. I talked to a guy who put them on his 30' predator or coyote or something like that and picked up 2-3mph. (73-76mph) After reading some threads on nose cones the TRS seem to benefit. now just what brand.

I'm pretty shure the Konrad Ace Drive is a direct bolt up to a TRS drive. Or maybe it's the 520..or 540. You can also run a higher X dimention with the Konrad.
