Bmax Drives

Just ordered my drives from Dean. What great guy so far to work with.I know its always that way when their taking your money but i think it will be a good decision to buy these drives and service and warrenty that i'm getting. Is there anyone else that has bought these drives and been happy or not.Looking to take the A/T to Clearwater area at the end of the month for 2 weeks and run the piss out of it.If anyone is in the area let me know where the good places are to boat and hang out.

Re: Bmax Drives

Clearwater is a nice area. Last year 3 of us towed our boat to Sarasota for spring break week. Lots of places to go and the Gulf generally is fairly calm. It will blow up though.

There is an island on the south side of Tampa bay right where the channel goes out to the gulf. We stopped for the day and had a great day. Some old fort ruins that we went through. HAs a coast guard station on the other end.

Spend some time in Sarasorta Bay. The Hyatt has a good bar/pub that is easy to tie up.

The wife & I have been going down that area for five years now a couple times a year. We have been from Clearwater to Port Charlotte and stayed on each key beach for the day. I really like that area but am partial to Sarasota, or just south in Osprey. Venice will be a big hit in a few years.

They have a lot of Manaties down there with a lot of rules on speed in the coastal area. I called the local water police gut & he met us and gave us a good run down, We never got stopped after that. He said it was good for us to call him because he stops all new boats he has not seen.

Need to stop at Siesta Key for the day. Good white beaches.

Have fun,
