That's excactly why when I need a under $10 part from another OSO advertiser, it always cost me at least $50. Gotta buy more stuff to justify the shipping cost.

Of the companies I have dealt with for marine parts BAM has given me the best service by far so I would highly recommend them.
Our annual poker run down here is on Easter Monday and on the Monday night before I discovered that I needed 2 couplers, some rear mounts and a few other parts. I ordered them from BAM and Marc was able to ship them out for me quickly enough to get them before the long weekend and I was able to make the poker run. I have had some pretty good service from other places but BAM is the best especially if you deal with Marc.

Re: Ordering from BAM Marine
I was going to order a keeper and /a trim tab from them today and the shipping was calculated at $17.60. That was nearly as much as the two parts cost. I thought that was ridiculous. I can send a 30 lb item for $26 to CA, these two parts could have been put in a postage envelope. I won't order as long as there shipping is this ridiculous, a lot of companies inflate shipping to enhance the profit margin, I'll bet my house on the fact actual shipping for these two parts was less than $5.00 to my door.

BAM is my source whenever I need genuine Mercury parts. Marc and the staff know the business and treat me well. Just got a box in from them yesterday!

We've used them for service on trans we didn't buy directly from them and they are a pleasure to work with and actually told the customer were the root of the problem came from to be able to fix and not break for the second time .

Re: Ordering from BAM Marine
I have purchased from them even some small parts that would have been cheaper to buy locally .
I do this because I have used their web site extensivly for parts look up and feel that its a free service and I want to support them for that
Whenever some one on this site has wanted a part number I alway look it up on Bams site as a reference.
Thanks for the great service Marc

Great service. I use the site often just to cross reference part #'s etc, if I just need a bearing race or some cheap hardware for something I'm working on.
