1991 was the transition year from the MK IV to the Gen V platform. There are a number of ways to verify this externally. The easiest is to check for a mechanical fuel pump boss as it was eliminated in the Gen V block.

Shows first series 525SC's being available in 91-92 with Mark IV (two piece rear seal/block mounted fuel pump)
However - some later 92's went to Gen V (one piece rear seal/sea water pump mounted mechanical fuel pump)
And then continued into the Gen VI series later on.
