Default Bravo 1 Gimbal ring cracks

Looking at a boat with bravo 1's .. Both gimbal rings appear to have stress cracks .. Ive heard this was a common issue with the bravos.. Anyone have an estimate to repair/replace them.. Whats the gimbal ring kit going for ? I remember paying 600+ or - for the TRs a while back

I think that Chad Hill is selling the stainless rings for 5-600.

I have 2 used HD gimbals that came off and XR set up.
They are slightly worn. would be a good candidate to have rebuilt or a spare.

If interested, make an offer.

Before you drill into your outer transom housing, You can actually change the gimbal ring on most boats without drilling those UGLY holes with UGLY plastic pipe plugs in them. A little patience and some simple modified wrenches and it is done!!

Thanks for the heads-up. I had been looking into them but had not made the leap yet because I just installed new T/A assemblies this season.
