Default Chine walk...

My buddy is having some problems with his boat, it's a 28' single V and he is saying that it chine walks if he doesn't trim it up, is this common?

Mine never did that....

Any deep-V hull with no keel pad to ride on when forced up onto the narrow point of the V (horsepower) will begin to 'fall over' to one side or the other which starts the oscillation from side to side.

What kind of prop is he running? My boat chine walks considerably more with a 3 blade. I switched to a four blade and it made a BIG improvement.

I would recommend running a Bravo I on the Sleekcraft, they typically perform better in the round ear blade design.
