Re: HELP: Engine alignment to Borg Warner Transmission.
OK, I pulled the drive, then pulled the engine - again. I then removed the transmission.
Once out on the floor, I bolted the trans to the engine. It easily slipped together, no problems.
I installed the engine / trans combo (tight fit). Bolted down the motor mounts and trans mounts. Then I re-installed the drive (slipped right in).
I had a little extra to do since I had a tie-bar and hydraulic steering. But I got it all back together in relatively short time.
Thanks for all the advice guys !

Don, the next time you do this job you don't have to pull the drive (TRS or speedmaster) the drive shaft just sticks out through the inner transom assy. When installing the motor/tranny combo, you just grab ahold of the spline and feed it into the trans tailstock, give the prop a tun or two and you're in. Done it many times, never pulled a drive on my TRS or my Konrad set up.
