Taylor Wires. Any tips on how to assemble?
Someone out there MUST have had a problem getting the boot over the wire??
10.4 Taylor 409.. Already went through 4 connectors trying to get the boot on/off... Seems like the shrink wrap they give you is crap..
I have used a heat gun to wrap, and tons of jell.. I can get the boot 1/2 way on, but, seems the hole for the boot is way to small to fit the wire, and the shrink wrap into.
Any advice??

I don't know what the shrink wrap you are refering to is. None of the plugs wires I have cut to length have had this.
When I've assembled plug wires, I pull the entire wire through the boot using some dialectric grease as lube. Usually use some needle nose pliers to pull it. Then I cut off the excess and crimp the connector. Pull it back though the opposite way to get the connecter in the right place.
