1999 Baja 29 project
Has anybody seen this:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-13312.html
It's a 29 Baja that needs new outdrives and some fiberglass work. It doesn't appear to be that bad and could be a good deal at the right price. A survey would probably reveal more, though.
Has anybody here taken on one of these projects. What are your thoughts?

one time I hit some rocks in my old Lib.......beat the prop and skeg up pretty bad but didnt break off the drive.......put on a spare prop and drove it home actually but was taking on some water........anyway......put the repaired outdrive back on, thought we were good to go but it was still taking on water......eneded up having to pull the motor and reseal (silicone)the transom assy to the boat......mechanic wasnt surprised......could be some poss. hidden costs to consider.

Well atleast they put the cover on. I would ask to see a picture of the right side of that boat.
