Reversing rotation B1
Do you guys think that it would cause any problems with the boats handling or anything else to reverse prop rotation. The boat is a stepped hull Donzi 22zx with a single 502 and a Bravo 1. The prop on it now is a right hand rotation. It just seems that so many left hand props are available cheap and I run in pretty shallow water.
Thanks in advance,
Rene

I did this on my 272 baja and it did torque over somewhat. It doesn't hurt anything. Change it over at the shifter though because it's hard to get used to shifting opposite.

I am sure this is un-approate, but I don't know how this all works. I am trying to contact "oldandtired" directly to ask his help with the post where he said he made his own gimble bearing removal tool. How did you slip the washers behind? you must have the engine removed?? And I am not grasping how you make the install tool from the old bearing, I am hoping a reply to your post will trigger you seeing this message, PLEASE email me [email protected]
