I currently run 1.8 rollers on a stock 330 and I picked up 300 RPM over stock steel. One of the best things is you don't have to worry about shoving a pushrod through the rocker.(has happened twice to me or someone I know)

Most of your rpm gain probably came from the change of ratio, increasing cam lift and durantion. Either way, thats cool!
