Stainless Marine High Torque lll Exhaust
I am looking to upgrade my exhaust and have been looking for some pictures of the Stainless Marine High Torque lll's.
Because bling is a contributing factor to my choice of exhaust, I want to see what they look like.
Does anybody have any real world pictures (not cut-aways) of them installed on their boat?
Thanks...

They are big, work good, but definately zero bling factor (actually pretty ugly) but I could care less when I'm beating on some high priced competion!! They required ALOT of hacking and whittling to fit in my single engine boat. I would be worried about installing them in a tight c/l twin application because of their huge bulk. In a procharged application (like ,ime) I had to trim off the air inlet to the supercharger housing 3/4 of a inch also just to get them to fit even with them literally touching the inlet screen (which I also had to cut 30% off of),Smitty

Re: Stainless Marine High Torque lll Exhaust
Ok I understand from the cheerleaders that they perform well. I see they don't look the best as far as bling but that might be able to be dealt with.
The tubes are the tubes and obviously are polished.
Can the cast manifold parts be polished? If so what kind of metal are they?
I know the stock 496 manifolds can be polished.
If they can't be polished I guess I could powdercoat them.
I have 4 1/2" tail pipe holes and would do all new exhaust through the transom. I think I read somewhere that the high torques come in a 4 1/2" size. True or false?

Yes, they can be polished. I would see if you can order them without being powdercoated.
