Re: Who Re Grinds Cams
the 4.6 3v won't take more than 400rwhp due to the weak rods.I don't think you can get 450 rwhp N/A.I haven't found anybody that achieved that goal,if it was possible I would doubt it would be very streetable.if you want drivability and want a road race type setup,go with a KB twin screw and vt stage 2 blower cams. then you have to worry about filling the bottle or running out.plus you get the wonderful blower whine

Re: Who Re Grinds Cams
Thanks . Ill take that as a compliment
By the way its what the wife wants
BLKHORSE, thanks for the advise, I am looking at the comp cams now. The car is set up as a road car not a drag car. I generaly keep the rpm's up high but I dont want to make the mistake and installl a drag racing cam. I'm not sure what I am looking for in a cam I can get out of a re grind. If I am going to change the cams I'm looking to get as much out of it as possible, looking at a stage 2 or larger. By summer there will be about every upgrade available to that cars suspension , drive train and motor, aside from a supercharger. I would like 450 HP N.A and around 600 with NOS.
