Question Can I replace my Gen6 block w/ a Boe Tie?

Will a 25534363 $1765.00. GM Bowtie block inerchange with my gen 6 502 block that came in my 500efi?

The 25534363 says its a one pc seal and the timing cover fits 5 and 6 covers.Says its machined for hyd roller and flat tappets.I really dont want to use the stock 10237292 when there's only 136.00 diff. I am planing on new short block assembly's for next winter, maybe more cubes too Most of the engine guys use the gen 4 and change everything over to gen 4 stuff .I didnt really want to replace all the gen 6 stuff I already have.

or does Dart or World make one that will work w/ the gen 6 stuff.

Will this block work in place of my stock GM block?

Thanks
Rob

My understanding is that the major differences are wall thickness (Bowtie can go to 4.625 bore) , Blind head bolt holes and all of the previous MK4 and MK5 bowtie upgrades. However I have not used one yet so hopefully someone who has can chime in. I remember reading about someone using that block at 4.625 bore to make a 537" motor with the stock 4" stroke crank mark6 stuff to make a "reasonable cost" 540 ish engine. Not much room for rebuilds though.

The main thing I am asking if all the gen 6 stuff will bolt up to this Bowtie block? The gen 5-6 and bowtie's have Blind head bolt holes .

The blocks I have now are holding up fine, one is a little loose and figured I step up ci at the same time .

Will do H2Xmark

The Gen5-6 454's don't have blind holes.

I know where there are a couple that are bored .030, honed except for piston fit, aligned and decked. Freshwater only. I think he was looking for $1650 each.
