Default Where u storing boat fenders?

I'm having a tough time deciding where to store my fenders...I usually leave them behind the seat for quick access but hate the cluttered look...where do u guys keep your's ???Looking for suggestions where to keep them and still be able to get to them somewhat quickly...I was thinking the engine compartment,I have a lot of room in there...good idea,or not???I did see a couple different manufacturer's selling brackets to hold a pair. Thanks for any info,
Mike

I Have Been Tossing Around The Idea Of Attaching Them To The Engine Hatch Some How And Just Lift The Hatch Enough To Pull Them Out. I Saw A Pic Some Where Of A Boat With That And It Looked Simple.

I Currently Store Mine In The Stabbin Cabin:d

Two parallel bungee cords running down the side of the engine compartment
at exactly the width of the fender away from the side of the hull. As long as all four fenders are in place, they stay put. I´ve run it two seasons like this and works perfectly. Red fender socks in a red compartment helped. They virtually blend into the surroundings, so you hardly see them!

I store 4 in the gunwales, and two big honking ones in the engine compartment outboard of the engines; one on either side.

I recently purchased the new flat style foam fenders and I stow them in the endgime compartment. They work nice due to the fact they lay nice and flat. Four of these take up the space of 2 of the round type. Like everything else there's pro's and con's.
