it's in the shop. apparently, there was a fairly large void between the small piece of foam and the bulkhead and gunnel. the gap of air with no material just made it weak. i'm thinking about contacting them but i'm not sure that it's worth it to me to get upset. since i know that they will probably blow it off, i'm better off to not get angry because it takes me so long to get over that kinda stuff

... it's totally not right but i have also operated the boat aggressively in rough water etc. with that said, i say it's probably 50/50 fountain's fault and my fault. let's face it, lots and lots of boats have had this type of damage and more often than not, it's just part of ownership. I posted a reply on here a while back stating that i was new to the idea of boats "breaking". technically, after talking to the glass guy, the boat didn't really break yet; it just gave me a warning but i'm not a newbie anymore. thanks for the replies everyone!
