JR Motorsports, Ankeny IA.

Their customer service is top notch, They have bent over backwards for me more than once due to circumstances beyond their control.

Ask for Axel Andreasen, he does all of their machine/engine work. Very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He is busy, so sometimes he is hard to get a hold of.

The bulk of the motors they do are small blocks, but they still do a fair share of big blocks. While marine is not their specialty, they more than know what it takes to make them.

Maybe not quite thousands, but its a lot.

I think they did 300-400 short and longblocks last year. He told me it was a record #, and they are going to crush that record this year.

I think they have 10-15 in the machine/engine shop. They just lost a guy to a Nextel cup team. When I would have some work done, and I'd say I am not in a hurry, it'll take them a week or so. If I was in a hurry, they'd have it done in a few days.

I spent a lot of money there, though
