Thumbs down WTF is up with this???

Can anyone please tell me what the fasination is with pink, purple, and turqiouse colors being used on so many boats by manufacturers???? I am looking for a new boat to purchase and there are alot of boats I see that I like but the color combos suck a d!ick. I understand that these colors may have been "cool" in the early 90's but I have seen a bunch of late model boats with these colors.
I just want to know if there is something I am missing about the hideous colors?

It is all about making the wives happy. If the wife likes the colors then it makes it easier for the married men to sell it to their wives. In turn it helps the sale by the manufacturer and the salesman

" Look Honey all the Billet Aluminium is Anodized Purple " In that sentance the only thing the wife understands is all that shiny stuff is purple.

Thats some funny chit MC....I am not totally against purple by itself (LSU color) but it's the mix between pink and purple and then they really go over to the otherside with the turqiouse. It seems Baja and Formula are the leaders of this revolution. It makes you think about what kind of guys are running the design depts.
