Default 496HO v. 525

Is the 525 a drop-in replacement for the 496 or are mods. required? ALso, can you run Corsa Q and Q with the 525? Thanks in advance for the replies.

You have to be kiding. Your not replacing the engine again? The 496 and 525 have different transom exhaust exits. You kill me...

No Corsa captains call either.
You'll need the CMI stuff to match the headers on a 525EFI.

Dave, if you don't take me seriously, how will I ever convince my wife!! BTW, I could upgrade my engine every two years til 2015 and still have spent less than you have on the one engine and drive(s)...

On 525 it`s alway`s CMI stuff ? ...how can i check ? ..i have see no number on it or tag ....Thank`s to take time ...and do you have any part number for CMI catalog ? or do you know where i can find used one ? i am in the hunt for put on my motor ...alot of question hein ?
