Default 383 longevity question

For those of you who have built your own or have custom set ups. How many hours has your engine lasted? What components and type of use do you subject it to and finally what boat are you running it in?

Eagle crank, good rods, good pistons, will last as long as anything. Just don't skimp.

Well, for the guys running small block chevy and fords in ski boats, it's not uncommon to get well over 1000 HRS, with them.
