i would think the 25 is still too much prop for you. try a 23. just an idea.

Just to let everyone know....I was wrong on the way I was reading the tach.

Tried those 2 props one more time. They are not running the same rpms, just appeared to be. I got those new Elite Gauges from Eddie Marine and the increments are real close together. In actuality, it was running 4700-4750 with the 25p and 4500 with the 27p. Unless you look real close, it apprears to be 4600. These guages are very nice by the way.

Then I took my mufflers (corsa muffled tips with spiral guts) off and ran straight thru….gained 250 rpms!
