Default Volvo Y pipe

Anybody out there have a mid 80's Volvo 280 V8 chevy y-pipe? The lake I frequent near Yellowstone does not appreciate my through hull exaust. GO FIGURE. I guess i can understand trying to keep the sereen atmosphere. The neighbors will be much happier and I dont think that I will lose to much performance ( I am already at 6000+ in elevation) If anyone has anything just email me at [email protected] or leave me a post. Thanks and OSO Peeps Rock the wavy boat nation.

Wouldn't it be easier to put mufflers on it?

Or do you want to be as quiet as a mouse..

I see them on ebay quite often.
Could you get the y pipe and then use a captains call or quick and quiet. I don't see a model that is advertised as a fit for a volvo 280. If it can be done I am sure someone here knows and will chime in.

Mufflers are still not quiet enough, this is a mountain lake, not a as per say go fast lake. I was going to try to make a corsa quick and quiet system work, but need the correct y-pipe to start the fab process.
