I have a 70hp merc outboard on my minicat and the prop wont budge. Its frozen on the spline.

any tricks to get it off ? I tried applying heat with no luck. do I have to cut it off ???? the prop is wrong for the boat and needs to be changed.

With any luck your prop is aluminum. I have had great sucess with an air disc grinder or a hole saw. cutting away the body of the prop to expose the hub you can then heat it and use some sort of a prop puller. good luck. -B
