Shouldn't be any different than any other straight v bottom. Mount them as close to center as you can.

The problem is that I have a small notch that is only 1 3/4 high and I can not find a pick up that small. Do I mount on the transom above the notch if so how long do I make it ?

My 2005 5t00efi Whipple kits came with a plain round tube type, I call Dustin since I was going to run both innercooler on one pickup and strainer and he recommended the Imco offshore style.as seen on my boat.

If I was going to replace my pickup,I would buy the one from Teague now, its a nice looking piece and is adjustable, rob

see if Teauge will make ya one with a longer slip tube and ya can cut it if needed.Or make the J part longer and at a 45 to catch the bottom of the notch

I ve had real good luck with gettng reasonable stuff made from Eddies and on other stuff his powder coat looks better than most ive seen
