Default Does this gauge look right

Looking into buying this boat but the MPH gauge is half full is it suppose to be like that or full all the way? Im knew to this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

It needs to be topped up . Mine is filled near the top .
I'm not sure where you can purchase some oil to fill it from the rear .

Needs to be refilled. It should have just a small bubble at the top.
Refiill is no big deal.

I believe it's just mineral oil, but I have not needed to refill one in many moons, so that could have changed.

Try to find the leak.

the boats a 2002 so hopefully its just a plug.

i was told they were filled with Glycerin...can find it at Walgreens

The seals on them break occasionally and they will leak down to the level where the seal is broken. If I remember correctly, you can send it back and have it serviced by Gaffrig for about $100.
