Default eddie marine tabs

does anybody have any experience with either the sport tabs or the full size pictured below? i've gotten mixed signals regarding the hydraulic actuators..... I am STILL looking for set of tabs and want to go brand new. I have a 2006 Velocity 260.... Any input would be really appreciated!

The tabs like the blue ones pictured I have seen installed on several boats at the lake. Looked like quality pieces. Haven't heard the owners of the boats every complain about them.

i have the full size eddie marine tabs(bottom pic), they work great. the install is a little time consuming but any tab install will be.

I have installed many sets of them (pic on right)over the last few years, since their release. I did have quite a few problems with the rams on the first few sets. The snap rings were coming out of the bottom of the rams. I also had a few hoses come apart and make one hell of a mess. The later models seem to be better. I have not used any in a while, so hopefully they have it all fixed.
I have used the Dana tab, which is basically the same thing. I think the Eddie is basically a copy of the Dana. Didn't have any problems with the Dana, but it is a little more money. Hope this helps, Eddie.

I have the Dana model that looks like the blue ones in your pic Joe. I have had them since 1999 when I rigged my boat. The power coating started to peel off the first year, but I was not able to get them back to Dana. They have worked flawlessly since then, except for the peeling.. one of these days I am going to get that taken care of..
I am running a 283 Checkmate Convincer with stand off box. The tabs are a nice addition..
Hope that helps.

Default Joe...

I have a brand new set of red 24's if you want them. Decided not to use them...they are gorgeous, never installed. Might sell but still trying to decide...

OKeagle, I believe Joe bought his already. If so, I would be interested!

Thanks
