Default Throttle Stops ?

on Kiekhaefer controls ....When we went from stock merc carbs to Holleys the throttles do not travel the full Arc and now there is not a positive stop.. Is there a stop adjustment?or an adjustment to make the throttles travel the entire arc ? ...m

just run them, you have the throttle stop on the carbs, holleys have a shorter throw than q jets.

thats funny ....but brillant!

Its just not a good solid stop ....the stainless plate on the carbs flexes when you hit the sticks to WOT ....I have been running em that way for a cpl of months and have gotten more used to it ........m

Try to put the cable attachment in another hole closer to the pivot point. Some, not all have additional holes. That will give you more throw. There is not a throw adjustment on that throttle, like is found on the Livorsi's.

Eddie ..someone had told me that some have the adjustment to change the arc ..even if these dont have the holes its good to know some do ....I need trim switches in the controls ....Sounds like a plan to me ......m
