engine compartment Mirrored hatch
Just curious what is the best material to apply to the inside of my engine hatch to get the mirrored look. I was thinking polished stainless. It just seems like it may be a pain in the ace to maintain. Do they make a mirrored Plexi-glass?? Thanks for any input

I prefer my boats to be quiet on the inside, so I personally would stay away from a hard surface- mine has sound aborbing material on the engine hatch and sides of the engine compartment. Just my preference....

I used mirrored plexi-glass. Bought it at a local plastics distributor. It's been awhile but I think it was about $100.00 for a 72" by 48" piece. You will need to put some kind of cushion like rubber washers between it and whatever you screw it to or the mirrired finish will scratch off because it's on the backside.
