I mostly use COMP stuff, but what was wrong with your old ones? The factory ones last a LONG time..

Morel here.... Compare a Comp and Morel side by side and you will see a big difference. The Comp's look like cheap Chinese made toys in comparison.

What kind of price for the Morels? Reason why I don't want to run my old ones is because of the bigger cam and also going to put a blower on.

Default Morel Lifters

I just installed a set of Morel lifters in a friends gen6 540. They seem to be a quality piece. I found the Morels to be 0.050" inch taller than the stock lifters. I see no sign of the Morels having an internal oil passage to feed the axel like some of the solid roller lifters.

Does anyone know the recommended preload setting for the Morels?

I have heard that Morel no longer sells lifters under the Morel name only with cam company names such as Cam Motion, Howards, etc.
Is this true?

One other question for more experienced engine builders. How do you pump up the Hyd lifters to check pushrod length?
