anothere dump question, no water

Hooked up garden hose,alots of water,start engine,no water coming out,manifolds getting xery hot,2006 496 mag,that was drained for shipping,now what,is there also a prime needed,like the oil pump.

Shouldnt be. You are putting pressure to the pump with city pressure right? Might want to check your impeller.

If the impeller wasn't bad, it is now. You should have water out the exhaust in 10-20 seconds.
