Default High water pressure 525's

We took my friends 38' Fountain with staggered 525's to florida over the winter. Made a couple of trips to the keys and one to Bimini. Found out that running through floating sea grass is bad!

Now both engines will peg the water pressure gauges at anything above 4000rpm

We have pulled hoses off and backflushed just about every hose we can get to. Got very little bits of sea grass from the heat exchanger but that is it. Nothing from anywhere else.

Where is this stuff hiding and what do we do from here?

Besides adding sea strainers that will be next before the boat ever makes that trip again.

PS I realize I put 535's instead of 525's, its driving me nuts too, but I can't figure out how to edit the thread title

Default

when you back flush you need to remove the hose connections at each cooler. oil, power steering, and heat exchanger. otherwise what hapeens is the traped debri from p/s cooler gets stuck between it and oil cooler. then after start up reclog's said cooler.
