Help - Need high temp exhaust hose - Where can I get this?

I went to semi dry risors for a reversion issue and can't seem to locate 4" high temperature hose to connect the risor to the transom pipe.
The 212* rubber hose connectors I had in the boat burned a quarter size hole in the bottom of one of the the hoses in about 2 hours of use.
I have seen some web sites that manufacture 500*F silicone exhaust hose, but you need to buy a long run of it.
Does any know where I can get a 2' piece of exhaust hose that will withstand high exhaust temps?

Thanks Gary

It should not get hot enough to burn the connecting hoses. You need to add more water.

Griff: I had reversion that cost me 2 motors so far due to the overlap of the cams I choose. The risors I bought to combat this have been sent back twice now to Eddie Marine because of the reversion issue and now they made them semi dry. No more reversion. However, I'm afraid if we start adding more water, we will be right back to the drawing board. I was told by Chris @ eddiemarine to use a high temperature exhaust hose connector.

I'm not sure what EMI did to make them semi-dry. Normally dry exhaust risers will run all the way through the transom so that the water jacket passes through the transom.

I guess my concern would be, that if the hose is melting, then whats to stop the fiberglass transom from melting/burning.

I would hate to see you put 500* hose on that lasts fine and then burn your transom. The temps must be a lot higher than 212* to burn a hole in the hose. Even standard automotive hose gets a lot hotter than 212* and it doesn't fail.

The risor has three weep holes staggered around the end of the risor pipe to allow some water to dump into the exhaust stream. As you look at the back of the risor inside the pipe, there are 2 holes (1/8") towards the top and one on the bottom.
