Default using non marine distributors?????

anyone doing it ? thinking about getting a the msd pro billet locked out.. looks like a decent piece, will it be ok??

Pretty much any non marine distributor can be marinized easily. All you need do is drill a couple 3/8" or so holes in the housing at the lowest point you can below the cap mount flange. Epoxy some very fine SS mesh over the holes and use a very small amount of RTV silicone to form a gasket between the cap and the housing.

If you look at a "marine" distributor, thats about all you will see different than a non marine unit. That and never run a vented distributor cap.
