96 502 mpi fuel/sea water pump oil leak

I removed the sea water pump/fuel pump this spring. Cleaned out all the crappy fuel/oil mix, put in new oil and a new gasket. Everything is good and tight. Just took the boat out for the first time this season, and she was pushing a little bit of oil out of the gasket sealing area. Left a couple of runs down my bilge. This was after a short 10 minute run. I then cleaned up the pump with some paper toweling and ran it the rest of the day. Didn't see anymore leaking from the pump.

Anyone seen this before? Or did i just need to add some silicone sealant with the gasket. Maybe i overfilled it? Not sure.
