Default How Much Should a MSD Box Cost?

I just has a mechanic install a MSD box. Besides the labor, he charged $300 for the box. I have no idea, but I thought this was a little high?

That's about right. Summitracing.com has them at $283.10 + shipping. I would imagine that they guy is not in business to lose money!!

I did find the one listed in Summit Racing so that is about right. I have external rev limitators so it is not part of the MSD box.
