Default starting problems when hot

Hi, a friend of mine said to try this forum. I don't have a go-fast boat but he said try you guys out anyway. I have a 97 Sea Ray w/ a 350 EFI motor.

The engine, once at operating temperature if shut down for few minutes will not start again until it cools down.

I have replaced all the ignition components, wires, plugs, pick-up coil, coil etc. Problem still persists. Fuel is new and there is no water in the fuel.

The engine has about 155 hours on it and runs great otherwise.

Any help or anyone who has experienced similiar problems with their mercruiser would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
