Amsoil (ARO) 20W-50 Synthetic

A very stout synthetic oil.

You could switch to Series 2000 Race.

Unfortunately, it is pricier...

Looks like a real good product but so does M-1 SilverCap 15W-50.

M1 at about half the price.
Changing 11+ quarts an engine every 20hrs I think I would go with Mobile1 silver cap 15w50.
Wonder if the zink content is that much higher than M1?

I've been using this oil at the request of the engine builder. No issues

http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/ame.aspx

I change it every 25 hours....and use a Merc racing filter

I think series 2000 is now Dominator racing oil. But the 20-50, is now 15-50. 2000 is not listed on the web site anymore.

I always wondered why I have not heard as much about RP as some of the other oils.

It has a lot of friction reduction agents.

Not an oil I know much about, though the dragsters use it frequently, especially methonol runners.

I think they are very well known for drive lubes.
