Default Water Pickups

Just curious to thoughts about the Formula water pickups on the boat. I will be working on the transom and repainting the drives. Should I consider a diferent pickup on the boat or is it not worth the hassle...what pickups should I consider if replacing?

Check out the all new "Rams horn adjustable pick-ups" and more Here It would be sure to spice up that transom!

I had a set just like that and the backs rot out where the thru hull pipe screws in. Replaced with standard water pu's. Work great.

The Ram Horn pickups are made to fit a Cigarette but could be made to fit your application with measurements and more info. If interested please give us a call at the number below. Thanks!

Do you have the adjustable ram horns for cats (like Teagues)?

We have found that the best results for cat's have been from thru-hull pickups rather than a "ram horn" or transom style pickup. This has been most recently documented in one of many series of articles on the buildup of a 27' Eliminator Daytona by yours truly, CP Performance. May 2008 issue to be exact, in which installation of the pickup is reviewed. The pickups are adjustable and can be viewed here at the bottom of the page. I can also provide pictures of the install if needed. Let me know if you have any further questions and thank you!
