496 Sea water pump question
A buddy just called me for help. He was replacing the impeller in his seawater pump. When he was removing the pump from the motor, he did not notice that it also had a vauum line attached to the pump, and when he unbolted the pump and went to pull it out, it pulled the vacuum line off of whatever it was connected to. We need to know where it goes at the opposite end of the pump.
Thanks,
Smitty
Thanks,
Smitty

I'm going to venture that it's
something connected to the air drain
system.

If it is green or grey they are the airlines for the water system. If it is black it is a vent hose for the air system. The vent hose just routes up by the water pump and does not connect to anything.
