Default Big block starters

Almost got my engines done .They are 540 inch 30 over dart standard deck .N/A With 9.5 compression .I want to get some starters,I am using bottom mounting.What kind have you guys been running.I would like to use the small ones.Such as Powermaster ,MSD,CSR,ect.What kind would you suggest.I have always used the big ones and really don't know which way to go on this.Thanks JOHN

John ..... I have had excellent results with these Starters ....I have got Altenators from them too. .....m

I agree..great products and pricing, Service too ! I have two on my new 565's..they work great !

I also have a 540 10.5 to 1 locked out timing. I use a tilton super starter. No problems in 3 years.

John i have a 598 with 10to 1 comp. and i just run the stock merc gear reduction starter with no problems

My poker run engines use the gm reduction starter like offthefront posted and I warranty those for a year I've never had one come back yet they are inexpensive and effective. Best of luck keep us posted on the performance when you get running. Sincerely Laz Mesa
